About
Dr. Michele Torosis, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Urogynecology within the division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Torosis completed medical school at University of California, Irvine, residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University and fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Her clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and voiding dysfunction. She is an expert in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. Her research includes emerging technologies, overactive bladder phenotyping, and improving diagnostics for pelvic floor disorders including myofascial pelvic floor dysfunction. Additionally, Dr. Torosis has a background in medical device development, having a degree in biomedical engineering.
